PAL Video is selected in error. Click on the TV SYS button located on the DVD remote near the Power button.
Light to Dark Picture. Connection to VCR or TV/VCR combo. Unplug the DVD player from your VCR and connect the DVD player direct to your TV (bypass the VCR). If TV does not have audio/video plugs, or if you have a TV/VCR combo, you will need to purchase and install an RF modulator (available at most electronic retailers).

The light to dark picture? Condition is caused by the disc manufacturer's license encoding at the time of manufacture. It is not cause by the DVD102 player.

No Video. TV needs to be switched to the correct input mode. Your TV must be switched to the correct video input selection. You can only switch the TV to accept an outside video source by using the original factory remote. Locate the button on the factory remote that switches the TV input. The most common descriptions on remotes are: GAME, TV/VIDEO, A/V, VIDEO, INPUT or SOURCE.
Universal Remote Code.   The code has not been published. The Universal Remote manufactures create the codes.
Region Error. Software issue. Return the DVD player.
Unit Displays No Disc Even After a DVD has Been Loaded. Defective unit. Return the DVD player.
Unit Displays Loading Even After Giving Adequate Loading Time. Defective unit. Return the DVD player.
